Until November, the infrastructure fund Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, CIP, had its sights set on the biogas plant Maabjerg Bioenergi. However, that plan fell apart in November when the 136 farmers in the company’s supplier association exercised their right of first refusal and bought the plant before CIP had the opportunity.
